Feeding the Bower Bird

2010   77 x 118 cms

On the fenceline of one of the town's Eastside alleys is this large sculptured, Satin Bowerbird. It once figured, appropriately as a 'mascot' for the recycled chattels from the town. Now, privately owned, it looms large over the fence, opposite the local school. It presented as a fantasy in several respects.
